Abstract

In November 2024, the volume of air passengers in West Java experienced a decrease of 0.81 percent (month-to-month).
The number of departures for domestic commercial air passengers in West Java in November 2024 was recorded at 8.34 thousand people.
The number of departures for international commercial air passengers in West Java in November 2024 was recorded at 1.88 thousand people.
Compared to October 2024, the number of domestic and international air passengers in West Java in November 2024 decreased by 0.81 percent and 20.57 percent, respectively. When compared to the previous year, November 2023 (year-on-year), the number of domestic air passengers in November 2024 also decreased by 63.66 percent. However, the number of international commercial air passengers increased by 52.85 percent.
In November 2024, the volume of domestic cargo and containers from ports in West Java reached 148.55 thousand tons, a decrease of 18.95 percent compared to the previous month. However, when viewed year-on-year, the volume of domestic cargo and containers increased by 17.76 percent.
The amount of international cargo and containers in November 2024 reached 43.56 thousand tons, showing a sharp decrease of 75.88 percent month-to-month. However, when viewed year-on-year, there was a significant increase of 252.02 percent.
The number of train passengers departing in November 2024 was 1.89 million people, a slight increase of 0.39 percent compared to October 2024. Similarly, compared to November 2023, there was an 8.01 percent increase year-on-year.
The volume of goods transported by train in November 2024 was 31.39 thousand tons, a decrease of 11.70 percent compared to October 2024. Similarly, compared to October 2023, the volume of goods also decreased.
