Abstract
The Farmer's Exchange Rate (NTP) is the comparison between the
index of prices received by farmers (It) and the index of prices paid by
farmers (Ib).
NTP is one of the indicators used to assess the purchasing
power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also reflects the terms of trade between
agricultural products and goods and services consumed, as well as production
costs.
The NTP in West Java in December 2024 increased by 0.42
percent compared to November 2024, from 111.24 to 111.71.
The Agricultural Production Price Index (IT) increased by 0.86
percent, and the Index of Goods and Services Consumed by Farmers (IB) increased
by 0.44 percent.
The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) in
West Java in December 2024 increased by 0.81 percent, while the Production Cost
and Capital Goods Addition Index (BPPBM) increased by 0.05 percent.
