Jawa Barat Economy 2024 grows 4.95 Percent (C-to-C)

Abstract

The economy of Jawa Barat based on the size of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices in the fourth quarter of 2024 reached IDR 724.69 trillion and at constant prices in 2010 reached IDR 448.06 trillion.
The economy of Jawa Barat in the fourth quarter of 2024 compared to the previous quarter experienced growth of 2.05 percent (q-to-q). From the production side, the Corporate Services Business Field experienced the highest growth of 23.53 percent. Meanwhile, from the expenditure side, the Government Consumption Expenditure Component experienced the highest growth of 41.08 percent.
The economy of Jawa Barat in the fourth quarter of 2024 compared to the fourth quarter of 2023 experienced growth of 5.02 percent (y-on-y). From the production side, the Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries Business Field experienced the highest growth of 18.99 percent. From the expenditure side, the Export of Goods and Services Component experienced the highest growth of 6.33 percent.
The Jawa Barat economy in 2024 experienced growth of 4.95 percent, slowing down compared to the achievement in 2023 with a growth of 5.00 percent. From the production side, the largest growth occurred in the Transportation and Warehousing Business Field of 12.34 percent. Meanwhile, from the expenditure side, the highest growth occurred in the Export of Goods and Services Component, experiencing growth of 12.09 percent.
The highest source of economic growth in 2024 from the business field side was contributed by the Manufacturing Industry with a contribution of 1.51 percent. Meanwhile, from the expenditure side, the largest contribution came from the Household Consumption Expenditure Component of 3.00 percent.
