Abstract

  • The export value of Jawa Barat in December 2024 reached USD 3.15 billion, down 1.96 percent compared to November 2024. Meanwhile, when compared to December 2023, it increased by 9.56 percent.
  • Non-oil and gas exports in December 2024 reached USD 3.11 billion, down 2.41 percent compared to November 2024. Meanwhile, oil and gas exports increased by 74.88 percent.
  • Cumulatively, the value of Jawa Barat exports from January to December 2024 reached USD 37.87 billion, an increase of 3.39 percent compared to the same period in 2023. Likewise, non-oil and gas exports reached USD 37.53 billion or increased by 3.47 percent.
  • The largest decline in the value of non-oil and gas exports in December 2024 against November 2024 occurred in Electrical Machinery and Equipment of USD 35.16 million, followed by Machinery and Mechanical Equipment of USD 20.94 million and Footwear of USD 20.50 million. Cumulatively from January to December 2024, the value of exports by sector decreased in the oil and gas, agriculture and mining sectors by 5.00 percent, 6.76 percent and 27.65 percent respectively. Meanwhile, the manufacturing sector increased by 3.54 percent compared to the same period in the previous year.
  • The largest non-oil and gas exports in December 2024 were to the United States, namely USD 502.70 million, followed by the Philippines USD 256.99 million and Japan USD 218.35 million with the contribution of the three to exports reaching 31.41 percent.
