Abstract

In an effort to achieve the national development targets outlined in the National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN), the Nawacita program, as well as the targets of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), credible and up-to-date data is essential. The publication of Welfare Statistics is a reflection of BPS's responsibility as an institution tasked with providing basic data/statistics as input for planning and evaluating development. The Welfare Statistics presented in this publication are sourced from the results of the National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas), which is a household-based survey. BPS conducts the Susenas periodically every year in March. This publication presents the statistics from the Susenas conducted in March 2024. Susenas collects data on Population, Education, Health, Fertility and Family Planning, Housing, Information and Communication Technology, Crime, and Social Protection. This publication is expected to meet the data needs of users regarding socio-economic information.
