Abstract

The economy of West Java in the third quarter of 2024 grew by 0.49 percent (Q-to-Q).
The economy of West Java in the third quarter of 2024 grew by 4.91 percent (Y-on-Y).
The economy of West Java in the third quarter of 2024 grew by 4.93 percent (C-to-C).
The economy of West Java, based on Gross Regional Domestic Product (PDRB) at current prices in the third quarter of 2024, reached IDR 708.47 trillion, and at constant 2010 prices, reached IDR 439.08 trillion.
The economy of West Java in the third quarter of 2024 compared to the previous quarter grew by 0.49 percent (Q-to-Q). From the production side, the Education Services sector experienced the highest growth of 3.23 percent. From the expenditure side, the Exports of Goods and Services component experienced the highest growth of 8.65 percent.
The economy of West Java in the third quarter of 2024 compared to the third quarter of 2023 grew by 4.91 percent (Y-on-Y). From the production side, the Transportation and Warehousing sector experienced the highest growth of 11.87 percent. From the expenditure side, the Exports of Goods and Services component experienced the highest growth of 13.73 percent.
The economy of West Java, cumulatively in the third quarter of 2024 (C-to-C), grew by 4.93 percent. From the production side, the largest growth occurred in the Transportation and Warehousing sector, which grew by 13.46 percent. Meanwhile, from the expenditure side, the highest growth occurred in the Exports of Goods and Services component, which grew by 15.18 percent.
The sources of growth (SOG) year-on-year, from the production side, with the largest contribution, came from the manufacturing industry sector at 2.18 percent. From the expenditure side, the largest positive contribution to growth came from the Exports of Goods and Services component at 7.27 percent.
